Due to popular demand, our Ironmen tour of the key sites, events and people of Gloucester’s rich Christian history is back. This guided walking tour, led by Michael Jarvis, starts at the Bishop Hooper statue at the west entrance to Gloucester Cathedral, 6:30pm on Wednesday 10 May and is expected to last 1.5-2 hours.
Some of the topics covered include: William Tyndale (Bible translator), the Hooper Memorial, St. Mary de Crypt, Robert Raikes and the Welsh Revival, PLUS A FEW NEW ADDITIONS!
This will be the last opportunity for a while, so if you fancy doing it again or you’ve missed the last two come along or you’ll miss a treat!
No need to book, just turn up.
